Famine evictions

We have had a great response for information relative to Famine eviction. Therese Lynch from Canberra, Australia heard about the project through her local Genealogy society’s Ireland Special Interest Group and as a member of the Irish diaspora wanted to like to contribute. The following is an extract from Newry Examiner and Louth Advertiser, 9 Sept. 1848 referring to evictions in Scariff and Liscannor in Co Clare.
